Timothy Wyatt Austin (Timmy), 5, passed away unexpectedly on May 27, 2023, in a tragic car accident which also took the life of his mother Sarah Jean Mink. Born in Monroe, North Carolina, he was the son of Sarah Mink and Justin Austin.
Timothy was an energic child who loved when his mother read him books. He was a great big brother to his little sister. Timothy loved anything superhero especially Spiderman. He was a child who loved anything that he could be outdoors for, including family walks. You could find him riding his bike or playing in the water with his sister and his mom and dad close by. Timothy had recently lost his first tooth and went on his first school field trip. They went to the zoo, and he loved all the animals. He was
finishing his kindergarten year.
Timothy is survived by his father Justin Austin and his sister Tiffany Austin (3). His grandmothers Esther Jones and Kimberly Knoll. His aunts April (Jason) Knoll, Kristy (Robby) Schaefer. His uncles Kevin (Ashley) Mink, John Mink, and many cousins.
He is predeceased in death by his mother Sarah Jean Mink and grandfathers Richard Lewis Mink and
Timothy Clarence Austin.
Funeral Services will held together for Timothy and Sarah at 12:00pm, on Saturday, June 17, 2023 at Holland Funeral Service, 806 Circle Drive, Monroe, NC 28112. The burial will immediately follow at Fairfield Baptist Church Cemetery in Marshville.
