Timothy A. Baker, 62, of Gilbertsville, NY passed away at home on February 22nd, 2024 surrounded by his loved ones. Timothy "Tim" was born in Amsterdam, NY on December 5th, 1961.
He was predeceased by his father, Thomas Baker; his mother, Ethelyn (King) Baker; his brother, Thomas Baker; his niece, Katelyn Hill. He is survived by his sister Denise (Baker) Lewis; his brother John Baker; his brother James Baker; his brother Richard (Michelle) Baker and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and cousins.
Timothy was a very unique man. He truly was one of a kind. He was a jack of all trades; if he wasn't working in a restaurant or tending to his beloved hobby goat farm, you could find him tending to his garden or enjoying his favorite recreational activities with his friends and family. Timothy always enjoyed making people laugh. His personality shone bright through his jokes and sense of humor. He never minded being the center of attention, or making sure he brought a smile to everyone's face. If you needed a pick me up, Timothy was the one to call. He always had an answer and joke to make you feel better. Timothy made an impact on everyone that knew him. The mark he made on the world will carry on forever. He will be missed greatly by many.
Friends and family are invited to calling hours on Saturday, March 9th, 2024 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Johnston & Stanimer Funeral Home, 60 Broad St, Morris. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
Timothy's family has entrusted his care to the Johnston & Stanimer Funeral Home in Morris. Online condolences may be made to the family at www.johnstonfh.com
