BROOKFIELD: Wallace A. Farrell, 87, passed away on Thursday, September 26, 2024 at Wynn Hospital, Utica, NY. He was born on February 27, 1937 in Frankfort, NY, the son of the late Francis and Catherine (McGuinness) Farrell.
Wallace served in the United States Air Force from 1954 - 1958. He was a member of the Brookfield Fire Department. Wallace enjoyed working on crossword puzzles, hunting, and fishing. He was an avid NASCAR fan. On June 1, 1960, in Brookfield, NY, Wallace married Susan McClintock.
Wallace is survived by his wife, Susan; children, Lynette (Anthony) Farrell of Deansboro, NY and Wallace Farrell, Jr. of Cazenovia, NY; siblings, Thomas (Grace) Farrell and Terry (Karol) Farrell; grandchild, Trentin (Maegan) Diehl; great-grandchildren, Sadie and Bianca. Wallace also leaves behind his dog, Rocky.
Wallace was predeceased by his sister, Kathryn Rice; brother, Bruce Farrell; granddaughter, Shauna Plows; and great-grandson, Domanic.
Services will be private and at the convenience of the family. Memorial donations may be made to the Brookfield Fire Department, Brookfield, NY 13314. Wallace's family has entrusted his personal care to Edd Stanimer of the Johnston & Stanimer Funeral Home in Brookfield, NY. Condolences and memories may be shared online at www.johnstonfh.com
