Timothy Pierre Bishop

Timothy Pierre Bishop passed away February 3, 2025 due to a medical emergency stemming from a complication with an aortic aneurysm.
Tim was born in Susanville, Ca on October 23, 1964 to Clifford Burnette Bishop and Barbara Ann Toler Bishop.
In 1965 his family moved to Glenallen, AK where his family owned and operated Bishops Trucking. Tim lived in Glenallen until around 1975, when his brother Michael and him moved to Anchorage, AK with their mother for 2 years and then leaving Alaska for Oklahoma and Arizona. It was in the 1990s, Tim had made his way back to Alaska and lived in Fairbanks where Tim was destined to be a truck driver on the Dalton Highway, the road his father had helped to build many years before. Tim was very passionate about life. He was always kind and generous with everyone he met. He was also quick to go after what he wanted in life. Which in 2009, was Dianna. He knew the moment he met her that he was going to marry her. On October 31st, 2009 Tim and Dianna were married. It was then Tim became known by many as "Papa T". He was proud of his family. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and brother. He had the greatest heart and he wore it on his sleeve. He was loved by many and will be greatly missed.
Tim had worked for many trucking outfits through out his life time. His most recent was working for STR, where he was at the top level of heavy haul trucking. It was a job he was very passionate about as well as something he was extremely talented at. His memory will forever live on with his Alaska Haul Road family.
He is survived by his devoted wife, Dianna, his children Tasha, Kyle, Andi, Timothy Jr, Tristan and step daughter Dawn; Grandchildren: Damien & Dahlia, Melissa, Ashlee, and Michael, Destinee and McKinlee; Great Grandchildren: Courtnee, Landon, and Gauge, and Brylee, Dalton and Brianne; as well as Great-great Grandchildren Sophia and Greyson, Brothers: Clifford and Bruce (Trina) Bishop and sister's: Kathleen, Sally and Debbie.
He is preceeded into death by his parents, Clifford and Barbara Bishop, his brother, Michael Aaron Bishop as well as step son Shawn Webber.
The family will hold a celebration of life/truck parade June 1st, 2025. Details will be announced at a later date.
