Timothy "Pete" Christopher, 56, passed away on Wednesday, October 16, 2024, at his home in Arjay. He was born in Pontiac, Michigan on January 15, 1968, a son of the late James Arthur and Geraldine Johnson Christopher. He had been a member of Jenson Holiness Church and had been a coal miner for many years.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Nick Christopher and Tony Christopher.
Timothy is survived by his wife of 16 years, Joan Christopher; sons, TR Christopher and wife, Sarah and Eli Christopher; daughters, Amanda Benton and Zach and Abigail Gibson; several grandchildren; brothers and sisters, James Christopher, Deonna Kipper and Ken, Tela Hager and Roger, Robin Christopher and Craig, Mary Gould and Robert, Pam Russell and Jack, Pat Christopher, Sandy Christopher, Tracy Goldman, Tommy Christopher, Samantha Christopher, Trish Fields and Brian, and Prescova Warren and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Services will be on Saturday, October 19, 2024, at 12 Noon at the Jenson Pentecostal Holiness Church with Rev Richard Asher and Tommy Saylor. The music will be by the church family. The Burial will be In the Christopher – Knuckles Cemetery in Arjay. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
The family will receive friends on Friday, October 18, 2024, starting at 6:00 PM at the Jenson Pentecostal Holiness Church until the funeral hour on Saturday.
The Arnett & Steele Funeral Home and Cremation Center, Pineville, is honored to serve the Christopher family.
