Timothy Christopher Corcoran

Timothy Christopher Corcoran was born prematurely on April 26, 1966 at Riley Hospital, Indianapolis weighing 1 lb. 11 oz. and spent the first eleven months of his life in the NICU. When discharged from the hospital he was placed as a foster child with Patrick J. V. Corcoran, MD and Margaret B. Corcoran. They adopted him a year later.
Tim was an avid follower of Channel 14 news and weather, especially his friends Marcia Yockey and David James. He would recreate news and weather programs in his T. V. studio in the basement of the family home. He had several hobbies including photography, watching vintage television series, would spend hours at the airport watching planes come in and go out and had a collection of model airplanes. He loved animals and the last 15 years had a rescue dog, Lucky Buddy. Tim read the bible daily and attended Bethel Church. He enjoyed helping others especially disabled adults.
Tim was gregarious, talked with everyone, usually with a big smile on his face and ended every conversation with " Have a blessed day ".
Tim is survived by his sisters, Ellen C. Hegeman, Sheila M. Corcoran, Monica Corcoran and J. Valentine Corcoran Wenzler, MD, and his loving dog, Lucky Buddy.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by good friends David Sweeney, Joy Hanson and his sweet cat, Clarence.
Visitation will be held at Ziemer Funeral Home East Chapel, 800 S. Hebron Avenue, Evansville on Friday November 25, 2022 from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. A short service will be held at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor David Schwambach officiating.
Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery.
