It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of our dear brother, Timothy Eugene Davis of Greenwood, FL, who passed away on Monday February 17, 2025.
Timothy "Bubbie" Davis was born January 9, 1974, to the late John D. and Ollie Mae Davis in Donalsonville Georgia. Tim attended Gainesville High School in Florida and later attended the Automotive program at Chipola College in Marianna, Florida.
Tim was a beloved brother and uncle. He was a talented and imaginative individual, always having the knack and ability to see the light and beauty in the simplest of things. Tim enjoyed time spent outdoors with his cherished family, including fishing, swimming, playing games, and proudly supporting Donald Trump. One of his proudest accomplishments to date was his contribution in the restoration of the historic Willis House in Greenwood, Florida, working alongside the Shepard/Kirkland family. There wasn't anything Tim couldn't do given a little grit and gumption.
Tim was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, David Davis; brother-in-law, Wayne Bamberg; maternal and paternal grandparents as well as numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
He is survived by his loving sisters, Barbara Bamberg and Tammy Whitten both of Greenwood, FL; nieces, Kyla Grimsley (Jereomy) of Greenwood, FL, Kimberly Shiver (William) of Kinard, Robin Yates (Greg) of Cottondale, FL, Amber "Nikki" Baxley (Jojo) of Greenwood, FL, Ashley Crum (Tyler) of Wicksburg AL, and Amanda Whitten (Andrew) of Panama City, FL.
Tim is also survived by several great nieces and nephews who all loved and adored him including; Kenneth Alan Fletcher, Tristan Gort, Mathew Grimsley, Austin Yates, Logan Shiver, Mason Crum and Chris Crum; great nieces, Heather, Searra and Summer Wester, Alicia Shiver and a host of cousins and loved ones.
Timothy Eugene "Ol" Davis may be gone from this earth and although we may "Wish you were here" we know he is in a better place playing his guitar in the sky surrounded by all his preceded family and loved ones.
Funeral services will be 2 P.M., Sunday, February 23, 2025 at Marianna Chapel Funeral Home with Pastor Jimmy Wright officiating. Interment will follow the funeral service in Mill Springs Church Cemetery with Marianna Chapel Funeral Home directing.
The family will receive friends from 1 P.M., until the time of service at Marianna Chapel Funeral Home.
