Timothy Wayne DeClue, known to many as Tim, was born on July 6, 1964 in Potosi, Missouri. He passed away on Saturday, June 14, 2025, at the age of 60. Tim was the son of the late Lennie DeClue and Ethel (Cain) DeClue.

Tim was always quick to let everyone know that he was "momma's boy". In his younger years, he found joy in hunting, fishing, and gardening. He had a passion for searching for lost treasures with his metal detectors and appreciated antiques. Reading his Bible was also an important part of his life. Throughout his career, Tim worked in various roles; he was a custodian for St. Louis University, a truck driver, and a skilled welder at Steelweld. His work was as diverse as his interests.

Tim leaves behind three siblings: Tina Williams, Mickey (Paula) DeClue, and Kelly (Rex) Isgriggs. He is also remembered by many nieces, nephews, and extended family members. In addition to Tim's parents, he was preceded in death by four siblings: Eddie Joe DeClue, Richard DeClue, Karen Drennen, Rhonda DeClue; and his brother-in-law, Randy Williams. Tim will be missed by all who knew him.

Visitation services will take place on Wednesday, June 25, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at DeClue Funeral Home, located at 301 East High Street, Potosi, MO, 63664. A graveside service will follow at Sunset Hill Cemetery at 12:15 PM. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to DeClue Funeral Home.
