Timothy B. Detienne – age 75, of Knoxville, passed away on Saturday, August 10, 2024 at his home. Tim was an auto mechanic for over 50 years, owning and operating Tim's Auto Repair off of Middlebrook Pike. He was an avid Nascar fan and was passionate about his 1985 S10. Tim was preceded in death by his father Delbert Detienne and mother Ida Mae Detienne. He is survived by his wife, Sheila; children, Linn (Ben) Vaughn, Shanon (Ron Robinson) Detienne, Aaron Detienne; stepson, Cory Burgher; grandchildren, Brooke Edwards, Brock Vaughn, Brittny Detienne; and 3 great grandchildren; brother-in-law, Ron Edwards,;very special friends, John Buckner, Gerald Robinson, and Troy Chesney; and many other friends. The family will receive friends on Saturday, August 17, from 12:00 – 2:00 pm at Rose Funeral & Cremation – Mann. Family and friends will then gather on Saturday at 3:00 pm at Highland Memorial Cemetery for a brief graveside service. Online condolences may be made at www.rosefuneraltn.com.
