Timothy Joseph Fitzpatrick, age 82, passed away on November 2, 2024.
Born in Akron, he lived in Uniontown, Ohio. Timothy graduated from Garfield High School, and served in the United States Army. He was retired after 20 years from Sealmaster 2009, and employed by BF Goodrich.
Timothy was a member of Holy Name and Knights of Columbus. His hobbies were building airplanes and ship models, fishing, and boating. He enjoyed the Cleveland Cavaliers, Browns, Guardians, old movies, music concerts, and theatre.
Timothy was preceded in death by his mother, Helen Thomas; his father, Timothy Fitzpatrick; and sisters, Bridget Lloyd and Joanie Ripley. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Geraldine Fitzpatrick; his sons, Timothy J. Fitzpatrick Jr. (Wendy), and Thomas Fitzpatrick; grandchildren, Tanner, Jaina, Timothy III, and Royce; brother, Dennis Fitzpatrick; and sister, Janet Fitzpatrick.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, November 6, 2024 from 4-7:00 p.m. at Hopkins Lawver Funeral Home in Uniontown (3553 Northdale ST NW, Uniontown, OH 44685), a wake service with rosary will be immediately following at 7:00 p.m. A mass of Christian burial will be held at Holy Spirit Catholic Church (2952 Edison St. NW, Uniontown, OH 44685) on Thursday, November 7 at 11:00 a.m. with Father Zwilling celebrating. The family suggests memorials be made to Holy Spirit Catholic Church.
