Timothy Switzer Foster, also known as Timmy or Tim, 60 of Cardington, Ohio passed away on Monday, September 22, 2025 at the Kobacker House in Columbus, Ohio after a brief battle with cancer.

Tim was born July 25, 1965, to Linda Gail (Misner) Howell and John Wayne Howell Sr at Cabell Huntington Hospital in Cabell County Huntington, West Virginia.

He attended Central High School and worked as an independent contractor and general supervisor for over 40 years. Additionally, Timmy worked as a Custom Homes HVAC Foreman for companies like Magnum and American Air for 25 years. He knew and worked most skilled trades, and could fix almost anything with his ingenuity and skill.

Timmy met the love of his life Terri Stocker while they were both working part-time for Rax Restaurants and they were later married in December of 1997; they celebrated 35 years of marriage together. With the arrival of their two children, Timothy David and Ashley Nicole, they became a family deeply rooted in love for each other.

Timmy is best known for being a hard worker and dedicated to providing for his family and loved ones. He was often a charitable person, who would lend you a helping hand or even a place to stay if down on your luck. Tim was respectful, trustworthy, and most importantly treated everyone equally.

A man who was fearless and honest that often told you what he felt, he gave his all for his family as well as anyone he counted as family. Timmy was always available to help with a project, converse with you if you needed someone to talk to, and rarely complained about anything. A huge fan of NASCAR, Classic Cars, Hunting, Fishing, and THE Ohio State Buckeyes. An incredible family fact is Tim's father once held the world record for the Fastest Quarter Mile in a 57' Chevy.

Above all else Timmy was proud of his family and life. The love, memories, and experiences he and his family created and shared every day together. Timmy will be deeply loved and forever missed by all who were blessed to know him.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 35 years Terri Lee (Stocker) Foster; daughter, Ashely Nicole Foster; son, Timothy David Foster; grandson, August Timothy Danny Foster; two sisters, Turina Michele Foster Boothe & Jacquline Howell; two brothers, Gregory Alan Foster & John Wayne Howell, Jr. along with many nieces, nephews, and friends.

Timmy was preceded in death by his parents, John Wayne Howell, Sr. and Linda Gail (Misner) Howell; and nephews, John Wayne Howell III and Charles Boothe.

At his request, a private celebration of life for Family & Friends will be held on October 18th, 2025.

Flower arrangements may be sent to the family's home address.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Timmy's family to help with his daughter's college education.
