Timothy Hartley Obituary

Published by Legacy from Jun. 25 to Jun. 26, 2025.
Tim was, to those who knew and loved him, a buddy, a rock, a protector, a builder, a fixer of things, a problem solver, a book of know-how, a speaker of kind words, and a contagious laughter machine. He embodied common sense, humility, and patience. Not only did Tim enjoy a successful career as a builder, but he also became a teacher whenever the opportunity arose-always offering encouragement to those eager to learn. He exuded love and empathy, showing genuine kindness to everyone he connected with. In the simplest terms, he was an incredibly good man. Born in Phoenix, Arizona, Tim later returned to the land of his family's roots in Missouri. He had much to overcome in life-from severe childhood asthma and a devastating head-on collision to a motorcycle accident that forever altered his path. He faced each of these challenges like a true warrior, coming back from injuries many considered unsurvivable, always with quiet strength. Even through illness in his final years, he fought on-far beyond anyone's expectations-finding joy, laughter, and passion in the smallest of things. To him, every moment was filled with possibility, and every day was a gift he never took for granted.

Tim remains an enduring inspiration to those who loved him-on how to rise to meet life's most unspeakable trials with humility and grace.

Tim is survived by and will be forever loved and remembered by his beloved wife, Anita; his children, Timothy Jr. (Jessica), Travis (Cheryl); his sisters, Marcie (Mark) and Jennifer (Danny); his grandchildren, nieces, step children and the furry love of his life, Bella. His passing was preceded by several dear family members, including his loving mother, Donna, his daughter, Tiffany, his brother, James, and his step-father, Leroy.

Rest in peace, sweet Tim. We will be forever grateful to have had you by our side and we will miss you deeply.
