Walkertown - Mr. Timothy "Tim" Clark Hartman, 64, passed away Monday, May 2, 2022, at Forsyth Medical Center. He was born July 4, 1957, in Forsyth County, the son of Freddie and Docia Thompson Hartman. He was a member of Gospel Light Baptist Church, where he helped with the bus ministry. He was employed by Shugart Homes and had also worked at Thomasville Furniture, where he met his wife of 24 years, Nancy. He enjoyed playing ball, hunting, golf, bowling and tinkering around the house. Tim was a sweet loving person who always made you feel welcome. He was a person who knew a lot about everything. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Mark Hartman. Survivors include his wife, Nancy Eaton Hartman; a son, Derek Morphies of Walkertown; a sister, Rita Coffey (Rich) of King; a brother, Mike Hartman (Bonnie) of King; his goddaughter, Leeandra Keen of Pilot Mt. and many nieces, nephew and friends. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, May 6, 2022, at Gospel Light Baptist Church with Pastor Matt Morrison and Pastor Frank Shumate officiating. Burial will follow in Gardens of Memory, Walkertown. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
