Timothy Jackson Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Howard K. Hill Funeral Services - Hartford on Jan. 13, 2026.
Timothy Lloyd Jackson Il was born on July 27, 1988, in Hartford, Connecticut. On Sunday, December 28, 2025, he peacefully departed this life to meet both his Heavenly Father and his earthly father, Timothy Lloyd Jackson Sr., at those pearly gates.
Timothy was educated in the Hartford Public School system and proudly graduated from Weaver High School. He went on to work as a landscaper for several years, dedicating himself to his craft until health challenges required him to step away.
From a young age, Timothy displayed a fierce competitive spirit. Whether on the baseball field, basketball court, or football field, winning wasn't just a goal - it was his expectation. His natural intelligence and strong will carried through all areas of his life, and he had dreams of one day becoming a veterinarian. His deep love for animals, particularly dogs, reflected the kindness and compassion he carried within.
In his adult years, Timothy faced epilepsy with courage and determination. He took the time to understand and manage his condition holistically, studying herbal supplements, improving his diet, and strengthening his spiritual health. His faith became a central part of his life. Timothy grew close to God, reading the Bible often and seeking divine guidance. His favorite verse of scripture was Isaiah 54:17. Never one to impose his beliefs, he gently encouraged others to build their own relationship with God. Timothy found peace in his faith, and those who knew him, believe he was indeed right with the Most High.
Timothy leaves behind a loving family and countless cherished memories. He is survived by his devoted mother, Joyce P. Bennett, her husband, Rudolph E. Bennett affectionately known to Timothy as his pops; his grandfather Freddie Jackson; his grandmothers Maggie Mae Dobson and Willie Mae Jackson; his beloved aunts Cassandra Jackson; Zandra Smith; and Marilynn Waldon, uncles Anthony Blackwell and Joseph Dobson; his six beautiful sisters, Tamena L. Jackson-Anderson (Henry Anderson Ill), Cierra L. Jackson, Deborah E. Bennett, Michelle "Peaches" Bennett, Sheron Bennett, Denise Walters, and a host of cousins, nieces, and nephews that he loved dearly.
He also leaves behind his beautiful queen, his fiancée Shaniqua Davis and their precious daughters Timoi L. Jackson, lovingly known to her father as "Princess," and Timya L. Jackson. Timothy's light, laughter, and unwavering strength will continue to shine through the lives of all who loved him. Though his earthly journey has ended, his spirit lives on in the hearts of his family, friends, and all those blessed to have known him.
