On April 13th, 2024, Timothy passed away and went home to be with the Lord.
Throughout his life, Timothy radiated God's light and served others selflessly, even during his courageous eight-year battle with cancer. As a mother, Gladys will miss him dearly. We find comfort in knowing he is now free of pain and sickness and in the presence of the Lord. Timothy fought valiantly and treasured time with loved ones, though it felt too short. Now, his spirit is at peace for eternity. If he could speak to us today, he would say: "I fought as long and hard as possible. I cherished my time with family and friends, though it seemed to pass quickly. I am now at rest in the Lord's presence, where I will remain for eternity."
Timothy Dwayne Jones was born in Bibb County on December 8th, 1972, to Gladys Jones. He went to Miller Elementary and Northside High School.
Timothy is survived by his mother: Gladys Williams, 1 brother: Shedrick Jones, his aunts: Susie Holmes of Warner Robins, Deloris Dishmond of Macon, Willie Mae Combs, Theresa Holmes of Warner Robins, his uncle: Lewis C. Lowder, and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends.
He is proceeded in death by his brother: Javan Octavius Jones Sr., his maternal grandmother: Ella Mae Holmes, maternal grandfather: Willie C. Holmes, and his father: James Edward Haslem.

Tim was a very special person. He touched so many lives. Everyone loved him. We were neighbors and friends for 20 years. He would do anything to help anyone. He was like a big brother being I don´t have any siblings, he would always come by and check on me to make sure I was ok. You couldn´t help but love Tim. He loved to make people smile and laugh. You will never be forgotten my friend. Thanks for being part of our lives. R.I.P till we meet again

Tim was a Very Good Friend that I have known since 3rd Grade,We Grew up Together along with several of other Friends on the Northside of WR. Truly there are not words that can tell all of the memories that personally I had with Him,But he was a Great person that was always right there in the Fun of all of it thru our 20's and 30's. Had not seen him for several years,But came back in Contact with him in 2020 and was told by him that he was battling a serious Illness,I Prayed for Him and That was the last Time I saw my Friend!! Tim I Love you Man and will see you on the other side where pain and Hurt do not exist,Thank you for being a Part of my life!! I will never Forget ÿou..RIP

Tim was a wonderful guy and loyal friend. He spent many days with my daughter Renee, and her boys when they were babies. He loved those little guys! I cannot think of a time when he visited that he didn't spend time with one of her boys playing or toting one around on his hip like a mommy. He truly was a good and gentle soul. He will be forever missed and remembered well. We love you Tim!!

I meet Tim through my brothers Terry and Jack. Then realized he was Van's brother too. Such a small world. It has been a while since I have seen Tim. But when I did he always was laughing and smiling. I miss our earlier days where times were so simple and we all were just having a blast. You'll be missed my friend. Prayers for your family, especially your momma and all your friends. This doesn't get any easier.
