Timothy Adam Lish

Timothy Adam Lish, age 59, of Rockford, MN, passed away Tuesday July 8, 2025, peacefully at home of natural causes. Tim was born November 17, 1965, in Golden Valley, MN to Terrence and Patricia Lish. He graduated from Cooper High School in 1984. Throughout his high school career, he excelled in gymnastics and hockey. He graduated from Dunwoody College of Technology where he studied Automotive Design. Tim spent his hardworking career exercising his many talents as an Auto Mechanic, HVAC Technician, Rupp National Service Manager and most recently spent 12 years at Federal Cartridge Ammunition.
Tim married his Pooh Bear, Wendy, on September 3rd, 1988. They began their life together in Corcoran and eventually moved to and lived in Rockford for 25 years. They loved ice skating, hiking, gardening, cooking and enjoyed many other care-free adventures together.
Tim enjoyed puzzles, hunting, fishing, gardening, reading, fixing cars, woodworking, leather tooling, cooking, and spending time with his family doing whatever as long as they were together. Tim was a member of the Elk River Sportsman's Club where he was a Recording Secretary for many years. He enjoyed donating his time at the Club to help other avid sportsman.
He was a hard-working, well-respected, kind, and giving man who many looked up to.
He was proud of his family and loved them deeply. He raised his two sons, Tiges and Peanut, to value hard work, honesty, and being tough when life gets rough. Most recently, he adored being grandpa to Finnegan, his "Finn Willy", and Lucy, his "Princess Peach".
Tim is survived by his wife of 36 years, Wendy, son Adam (Claire) and grandchildren Finnegan William and Lucy Sue Marie; son Steven (Kristin); mother, Patricia Lish; siblings Ann (Hershal) Mitch; Daniel (Susie) Lish; and Tia Lish; father-in-law Dan (Janet) Quamme; mother-in-law June Quamme; and many brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews.
Tim is preceded in death by his grandparents Myrtle and Ben Lish; William and Maxine Minnihan; and his father Terrence Lish.
Tim's personality, sense of humor, stories, and willingness to help others will be missed forever by his family and friends.
