Timothy David Manning

Timothy David Manning, 39, of Niota, TN passed away suddenly on Tuesday June 6th, 2023 in his home.
Tim, or Timmy as he was often called, was a beacon of light for many of the people who had the pleasure of meeting him. He enjoyed being the life of the party and making people feel 'at home' while they were around him. Timmy took every opportunity to learn and made excellent grades all throughout his time in the Sweetwater school system. He was a wiz at math and was able to catch-on to new information quickly. He carried these skills with him as he grew up, taking pride in fixing things and making them better; especially if it made his mom's life a little easier. Never really mastering the art of being still, Timmy was always on the go and enjoyed playing sports like baseball, basketball, football, soccer and bowling. He played a wicked game of pool and would challenge anybody when it came to the poker table.
Although Timmy carried many titles throughout the years, his absolute favorites were being a best friend to his mother, a big brother to his younger sibling Derick, and an uncle to all his nieces.
Timothy Manning was preceded in death by his father, David Maurice Manning.
He is survived by his mother Judy Vinson Manning, his brother Derick Scott Manning, his four nieces Hailey, Gracie, Harley, and Nevaeh Manning, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
There will be a graveside service for Tim on Friday June 16th, 2023 at 3:00 P.M., officiated by Reverend Bill Dawson at Westview Cemetery in Sweetwater, TN. Family and friends will meet at the cemetery at 2:45 P.M.
Timmy will be greatly missed, but there is comfort in knowing he just made heaven a whole lot brighter.
