Barbara Sue was by all means a warm spirit with an old soul. Not too many were her biggest fan, but that's the way she liked it. She would open her home and her kitchen to anyone who needed it. She would gladly give you a dry seat and a full belly and would be in no rush for you to leave. When she loved you, she loved you big, and her loyalty was unwavering. She loved to play classic, three chord country songs on the guitar and was dang good at it. Life of the party would be an understatement, with some of the parties being so fun, that she had to bring the horses from the barn into the kitchen to join in on the fun! Horses were a great passion for her, she knew a lot about them and had a natural gift with them. Her Italian roots were something she was extremely proud of and talked about it often. Her own mother's homemade bread was famous in the family. She loved each of her brothers and sisters dearly but said she was the cream of the crop. They all had a very special bond. She loved the Lord and had many many talks with Him. She got down on her knees and said her prayers every single night. She was born October 1, 1952, to Thelma and Paul Baker and passed away on August 29, 2025, In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother and sister, Kathy and Paul. Barbara is survived by her loving family, Rich, Steph, & Savannah Mays, & William Loux Shay, Caleb, Cainan, Gibson Curtis, Dawn Rayl, Donnie and Jessica Beal with Serenity Kurleman, Hunter and Brianna with Raelynn Elizabeth and Rylee Eloraina Beal, Cecil Lee and Paige Pittsley Hayden and Stella Pittsley and Carter Jackie Lee Farris, and Je rey G Farris with Oliver Andrew Farris. Her siblings Donna Jean, Bobby, Bill, Sharon & John. She also leaves so many family and friends that it's impossible to list everyone. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
