Publish in a newspaper

Mark David Baker passed from this life on October 15, 2025, at the age of 68. Born on October 9, 1957, Mark lived a life defined by skilled hands, and a deep appreciation for the simple joys of the outdoors.
A lifelong outdoorsman, Mark found peace in nature. Hunting season was a time he especially cherished, not just for the pursuit, but for the patience, discipline, and connection it required. Outside of hunting, he enjoyed sport shooting, often sharing that time with friends and family who appreciated his steady presence and good humor. In addition to his love of the outdoors, Mark was an avid golfer. Whether on the course with friends or practicing his swing, he found joy in the game's challenges, and the peacefulness of a day spent on the green.
Mark had a natural talent for fixing things and solving problems, which made his career as an electrician both fitting and fulfilling.
In his quieter moments, Mark found comfort at home, enjoying his favorite television shows and the simple pleasure of a well-earned rest.
Mark is survived by his brother, Bruce Baker, and sister-in-law, Deborah; his nephews, Michael Baker (Nozomi) and Lewis Baker (Caely); and his niece, Sarah Sminkey (Raymond). He also leaves behind five beloved great-nieces and nephew, along with a host of extended family members and lifelong friends who will miss him dearly.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
