With immense sadness and heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Cason Jean Kizer, who is now in the beautiful arms of Jesus. Although his time with us was brief, 11 weeks and 1 day, Cason's life was a testament to courage and strength, leaving an incredible mark on all who knew him.

Cason was born with Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome and fought a very hard battle. His journey was a powerful witness to the steadfast faith of his mother and father, who shared their story with many friends and family. While he is no longer with us on Earth, Cason has been welcomed into heaven by his paternal grandmother, Tammy Kizer.

Many came together as prayer warriors, offering meals, support, and love during this journey. We are forever grateful for the army that has stood beside us during this time. Cason is survived by his loving parents, Joshua and Carey, and his three adoring siblings: Elliana (10), Crew (7), and Heidi (2). They will always remember his little "mad" smile that captured their hearts from the very first moment he arrived.

The family finds comfort in the words of Psalm 139:13-16, which remind us that Cason was wonderfully made and intricately formed in his mother's womb by God's own hands.

He is also survived by many loving family members and friends who will miss him deeply.

While our hearts ache with grief, we are forever grateful for the time we had with our precious boy. He will be deeply missed and will live on forever in our hearts.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that donations be made to charitable causes supporting congenital heart defect awareness and research, in honor of Cason's brave journey and beautiful spirit.

Arrangements are under the thoughtful direction of Moore Funeral and Cremation.
