Timothy W. McFarland, 66, of Columbus, Ohio, passed away unexpectedly on February 26, 2025. Born on July 16, 1958, he was the cherished son of Bob and Betty Lewis. A 1976 graduate of West High School, Tim explored various career paths before finding his true calling as an entrepreneur in snack food distribution.
Tim was a devoted husband to his beloved wife, Charlene. High school sweethearts, they shared 47 beautiful years of marriage filled with love, laughter, and unwavering companionship. He was a proud and loving father to his children, Nick (Tiffany) McFarland and Andrea (John) Butch, and a dedicated grandfather to his nine cherished grandchildren: Trevor, Kierstyn (Cory), Brittany, Nolan (Olivia), AJ, Faith, Julia, Jack, and Alex.
In addition to his wife, children, and grandchildren, Tim is survived by his mother, Betty; his sister, Monica (Bill) Pearse; his brother, Rick (Connie) McFarland; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Bob.
Tim found joy in weekend getaways with Charlene, cheering on his grandchildren at their school and sporting events, and spoiling his beloved “grand-dogs.” He cherished swapping stories with friends and neighbors at the community pool—always with a Pepsi in hand. Known for his infectious humor, unwavering loyalty, and gift for making friends wherever he went, Tim brought warmth and laughter to all who knew him.
Though his absence will be deeply felt, his spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
