Timothy worked for Appleton Paper in Bonner Springs, KS for over 14 years. After moving to Columbia he worked for Premier Moving & Storage up until the time of his passing.
He loved fishing, camping and float trips. He also loved music, including playing his guitar and singing karaoke.
Timothy is survived by his girlfriend of 12 years, Joyce Romero-Perez; son, David McNames; daughter, Ashley (Shawn) Rick; brothers, Bob and James McNames; sister, Tammy Herb; 3 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Timothy was preceded by his Parents; brother, Thomas McNames; sister, Kim McNames and nephew, Ryan McNames.
A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, November 20, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. at Parker-Millard Funeral Service and Crematory.
Expressions of sympathy can be made to the family of Timothy David McNames to help cover funeral expenses.
Arrangements are under the direction of Nilson-Millard Cremation and Burial Center, 5611 E. St Charles Road, Columbia, MO 65202 (573) 474-8443. Condolences may be left online for the family at www.nilsonfuneralhome.com.
