Timothy Graham Millett, 51 of Waverly Twp., died Thursday, August 5, from injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident. He is survived by his wife, Katie Eckenrode Millett, and their two sons, Jake Timothy, and Ben William.
Born May 10, 1970 in Scranton, he was the son of Judith Whitman Millett, Clarks Summit and the late Daniel J. Millett who died December 12, 2020. He was a 1989 graduate of Blair Academy, Blairstown NJ., and received his Bachelor of Science degree from Penn State University. Upon receiving his Real Estate License, Tim established TGM Realty, LLC where he owned and managed properties in Clarks Summit and Scranton. Tim was the originator in conjunction with his father having established The Pines Senior Living, Clarks Summit where he had served as administrator. He was a member of the Church of St. Gregory, Clarks Green, Glen Oak Country Club, and the Greater Scranton Board of Realtors.
Tim was a kind and loving father, husband, son, brother, and friend. He enjoyed skiing, golfing, and being present at his children's school and sporting events. Tim had a huge heart and always took the time to help anyone in need. He brought so much joy and laughter to our lives. He will be forever missed by those who knew and loved him.
Also surviving are his siblings; Stacie Rechlicz and husband Dr. David of Montrose; Mari Doherty and husband Dr. John of Clarks Summit; Danny Millett and wife Heidi of Gill, Colorado; Todd Millett and wife Vicki; and Brett Millett and wife Nicole; all of Clarks Summit. His in-laws Bill and Mamie Eckenrode, of Scranton; and Lynn and Nadya Popil of Philadelphia. He was a loving uncle to his nieces and nephews; Jack Rechlicz, Graham, Liam, and Cullen Doherty, Brynn and Bridget Millett, Sam, Matt, and Anna Millett, Ty and Emma Millett and Gabriel and Piper Popil; aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his niece, Emily Ann Rechlicz.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday at 11:00 am from Church of St. Gregory, 330 North Abington Road, Clarks Green, to be celebrated by Rev. John M. Lapera, pastor, and concelebrated by Monsignor Joseph G. Quinn. The family will receive relatives and friends Friday from 09:30 a.m. to 10:45 am at Church. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family.
