Timothy Paul Munyan

Timothy Paul Munyan, a lifelong resident of Clawson, Michigan, passed away peacefully on August 2, 2025, at Pomeroy Living in Sterling Heights. He was 76 years old.

Born in Highland Park, Michigan, on July 5, 1949, Timothy was the cherished son of Ralph and Williamina Munyan. He graduated from Troy High School in 1969 and later made his home in Clawson, where he served the community for many years as a custodian for the Clawson School District. His quiet dedication and kind presence left a lasting impression on the students and staff alike.

On April 1, 1978, Timothy married the love of his life, Barbara. Together they shared 44 beautiful years filled with love, laughter, and unwavering companionship until Barbara's passing in April 2020. Their bond remains an enduring testament to devotion and partnership.

Timothy had a deep appreciation for libraries, often finding comfort and joy in their calm atmosphere. Whether connecting with members of the Troy and Clawson communities or simply enjoying a peaceful moment among the stacks, the library was a special place for him. He was also an avid lover of music, especially classic records, which brought him great happiness throughout his life.

He is survived by his brother, Ralph "Ken" (Alice) Munyan, and will be remembered with love by extended family, friends, and all who had the pleasure of knowing him. He is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Barbara Munyan.

Timothy's presence, gentle spirit, and thoughtful nature will be deeply missed.

A burial service will be held at White Chapel Memorial Cemetery on Tuesday August 5th, 2025, at 10:00 AM. Family and friends are welcome to attend and celebrate his life.
