Timothy David O'Brien, aged 61, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away peacefully on October 3, 2025. He was a devoted husband and father whose warmth and kindness touched the hearts of everyone who had the pleasure of knowing him. Born on February 25, 1964, in Mankato, Minnesota, Timothy was the son of David and Barbara (Harris) O'Brien. He dedicated his life to his work as a self-employed roofer, a trade he embraced with passion and dedication.
Timothy had a profound love for his family. He cherished the time spent playing with his grandchildren and shared a deep bond with his wife, Stephanie Lynne O'Brien, with whom he celebrated 36 wonderful years of marriage. He is also survived by his father, David Arthur O'Brien; mother, Barbara Joan Wegge; children, Nichole O'Brien, Lynsey (Anthony) Rogers, and Troy (Brooke) O'Brien; grandchildren, Colton, Carson, and Connor Rogers; siblings, Beth (John) Uhler, and Shannon O'Brien; along with many nieces, nephews, and friends who will forever keep his memory alive in their hearts.
Timothy was a man of many interests. He loved listening to Rock-N-Roll music, watching sports, and exploring the wonders of geology and astronomy, often sharing these passions with his loved ones. A proud veteran of the U.S. Army, he held a firm belief in the circle of life, as symbolized by the Ankh.
Visitation will take place from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Friday, October 10, 2025, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, located at 10304 Dixie Hwy.
