Timothy "Oats" Michael O'Neil, 78, of Ocala, Florida passed away on September 16th 2025 peacefully in his sleep.

Timothy was born in Hudson, NY to Paul and Isabella O'Neil on June 4, 1947. Timothy graduated from Ichabod Crane High School and went on to work in manufacturing at a pharmaceutical facility for 39 years. Timothy then retired to Ocala, FL where he lived out his final days playing golf. Timothy enjoyed bowling, playing the ponies, and spending time with his family. Timothy was a proud member of the Valatie Santa Claus Club and spread holiday joy to all children, including his grandchildren as he dressed up as Santa yearly. Timothy had a huge heart and was always willing to take people in who needed support.

Timothy is survived by his wife of 54 years, Rosemarie O'Neil of Ocala, Florida. The couple shared many wonderful years together and had two children. Cynthia O'Neil of Rome ,NY blessed Timothy with three grandchildren, Brittiany Ontas (Yucel Ontas), Crystal Gerke and Daisy O'Neil. Debra Cannizzaro (Dominic Cannizzaro) of Mooresville, NC blessed Timothy with two granddaughters Angela Meglio and Sophie Meglio. Timothy is also survived by two great grandchildren, Cameron Wilson and Emerey Ontas.

Timothy is preceded in death by his mother and father as well as his brothers, Thomas O'Neil, Harry O'Neil and Richard O'Neil.

The family invites you to join them at a memorial service from 10am-12pm, September 27, 2025 at the Raymond E Bond Funeral Home in Valatie, NY.
