Timothy J. O'Dea, Sr., of Venice, Florida formerly of Louisville, passed away on Thursday, June 22nd.
He was a native of New York City. He was married 58 years to his loving wife Martha Blake O'Dea. He was an Army Veteran and retired as Director of Public Works for Jefferson County Kentucky. Tim was a proud member of Ancient Order of Hibernians and a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Timothy I. O'Dea and Eileen O'Dea and his sister, Mary Peter.
He is survived by his loving wife, Martha Blake O'Dea, his sons, Timothy, Jr., Daniel (Stacy) and Steven, grandchildren, Maddie, Timothy Colin, and Ryan and his sister, Bernadette Kane.
Visitation will be Wednesday, July 5th from 4-8pm at Highlands Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Rd. Funeral Mass will be Thursday at 11am at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, 508 Breckenridge Ln, Louisville, KY 40207. There will be a private burial.
Expressions of sympathy can be made to World Central Kitchen, PO Box 392389, Pittsburgh, PA 15251, Doctors Without Borders, PO Box 5022 Hagerstown, MD 21741 and Tidwell Hospice in Venice, Florida.
