Tim pursued academic excellence by earning a bachelor's degree from Vanderbilt University and an MBA from the University of Chicago and made a career in finance.
Aside from his professional life, Tim cherished his time outdoors and enjoyed fishing, skiing or any outdoor activity.
He is survived by his parents, Lynda and Jack Reilly; children, Ella, Thomas "Tucker", and Tate; his former wife, Tina; sister, Colleen Wilson and her children, Chase, Jacque, and Paige and many nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles. Timothy was predeceased by his brother, JP Reilly.
Tim's remarkable legacy will live on through the cherished memories held by his family, friends, and all who had the pleasure of crossing paths with him.
A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, June 13, 2025 at 10am at the Church of St. Mary, 175 E. Illinois Road, Lake Forest, IL. The service will be livestreamed at https://youtube.com/live/i-iVxuFnx2M?feature=share. Interment will be private.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude’s Children's Research Memorial Fund at http://fundraising.stjude.org/goto/TimothySReilly.

Tim worked with me at Stifel. He was extremely intelligent and friendly and I enjoyed working with him. He was a talented investment professional and friend and will be missed.

Tim. My dear friend. I am so glad that I had the opportunity to meet you and to get to know you for the short time that we had together as friends and truly wish we could´ve had more time to spend together.
Tim, I am also glad that I was able to pray with you from time to time and to share Jesus Love with you. I will miss those times especially Tim because I saw the sweet side of you and the man you are.
May GOD provide you rest and I pray for peace and GODS Love and Comfort for your children and family.
