Timothy Ray Schultz was born on October 26, 1953, in Madison, SD, the son of Raymond Milo and Marlys Rozella (Bargmann) Schultz. He was a lifelong resident of Madison, a graduate of Madison High School and SDSU. Tim worked alongside his family in the seed business, contributing to the growth and success of Mustang Seed. He carried forward the legacy of hard work and community commitment instilled by his parents.

Tim will be remembered for his curious mind, quirky charm, love of dogs (especially Herk, Buffy and Buckwheat) gardening, and Dairy Queen Blizzards. He had a talent for researching everything and collecting gadgets that only he truly understood. Tim's life was full of surprises, laughter, and those who knew him will always smile at the memory of his wonderfully original spirit.

Tim is survived by his siblings: Greg (Karen) Schultz of Sioux Falls, SD; Cindy (Steve) Becker of Humboldt, SD; Karen (Jay) Anderson of Fillmore, IN; and Terry (Lori) Schultz of Madison, SD. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews: Maren (Nick) Scheiner, Peter (Rachel) Schultz, Kristen Schultz (Steve Owen), Christina (Gary) Knips, Rob Becker, Leigh (Dan Schramm) Anderson, Katlyn (John) Van Dam, Madison Anderson, Makena Schultz, and Mallorie Schultz; and many extended family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ray and Marlys Schultz.
