Timothy Scott

Timothy Scott, age 58, of Lakeville, Minnesota, passed away August 18, 2025 surrounded by loved ones.

He is survived by his loving wife, Laura Scott; daughters Brenna Scott and Sarah (Anthony) Stofferahn; sister Kelly Gallant; and mother Claudia Engelman. He was a proud grandfather to Oliver and JJ.

Timothy is also survived by his stepsons Hassan (Jessica) Rafi, Jawad (Shannon) Rafi, and Mohsin Rafi; his adopted daughter Christina Sandlin and her son Weston.

Tim was blessed with a sense of humor that could break the ice or ease the tension in a room. It was his sense of humor that helped him and others deal with the challenges in life especially those that he experienced over the last couple of years. He kept his wit and humor even in his final moments of life, a great reminder of his strength.

Tim loved to explore new places and experience new things but where he felt the most at peace was underwater, scuba diving. He had so much joy talking about his dives and what he saw. whether it was the reefs, rays, fish, caves, shipwrecks, sharks or simply just being under the water. He loved it all and couldn't wait to plan his next trip.

Tim loved life and wanted to experience all it had to offer.

A memorial visitation will be held on Saturday, September 6, from 12:00 noon to 3:00 PM at White Funeral Home, 20134 Kenwood Trail, Lakeville, Minnesota.
