Timothy A. Seybert Sr., 72 of Knox, PA passed away on Tuesday, May 14, 2025 at Pleasant Ridge Manor, Girard, PA.
He was born on August 29, 1953, a son of the late Edwin B. and Margaret A. (South) Seybert. Tim grew up in the Rimersburg area attending Union High School before enlisting in the United States Air Force. Following four years of active-duty service, he was Honorably Discharged.
After his military service, Tim and his wife settled in Fort Worth, Texas, where he became a certified aircraft electrician. His skills and dedication led him to work for General Dynamics and later Lockheed Martin. Always eager to expand his knowledge, he earned seven master certifications in mechanical and electrical disciplines.
Outside of his professional life, Tim's passion for automobiles led him to establish ASAP Automotive and Fleet Service, a home-based shop where he and his wife restored and painted vehicles together. His career was cut short after a life-changing car accident, which affected him deeply.
Tim's primary love was for his family, and he carried a great fondness for music, aviation and the outdoors as well. Though his accident changed the course of his life, it never diminished his love for family or his ability to share laughter and warmth with those around him.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Stanley Seybert and Edwin B. Seybert Jr.
He will be greatly missed by his family which includes his wife, Bonnie Callender, whom he married June 3rd, 1972; daughters, Jennifer Coble (Richy) and Angela Winne; son, Timothy A. Seybert Jr. (Elizabeth); sisters, Joyce Galbraith and Donna Felgar; brother, William Seybert; grandchildren, Christian, Isaiah, Aaron, and Savannah Coble, Sarah, Tabitha, and Jeffrey Jr. Winne, Daniel, Isaac and Chloe Seybert.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Timothy Seybert Sr. Memorial Fund, C/O Edder Family Funeral Home, 309 Main St E, Girard, PA 16417. A celebration of life will be held privately by the family.
