Timothy James Shea, 78, of Clarksburg, MA, died at his home surrounded by his loving family on Sunday, July 20, 2025. He was born in North Adams on December 25, 1946 to the late Irving and Dorothy Helen (Blanchard) Shea. Timothy attended schools in North Adams, including Drury High School and McCann Technical High School. He was employed as a machinist with General Electric and served the town of Clarksburg for many years as a member of the Board of Health and the Planning Board. He enjoyed spending time with family and hunting and was a fireworks enthusiast. Timothy leaves his devoted wife, Irene (Piantoni) Shea whom he married October 20, 1984; his son, James P Shea of Clarksburg; step sons, Russell Blake of Maine, and John (Heidi) Blake of Clarksburg; grandchildren, Natasha Brannigan (Jack), Nathan Blake, Hannah Blake, and Hope Blake; great grandson, Lincoln; a sister, Ellen D. Baclawski, and many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his sister Pamela Jelley. Graveside services for Timothy James Shea will be held on Friday, July 25, 2025 at 1:00 PM. at the family plot in Southview Cemetery, North Adams, MA.
