Timothy Wesley Smith

Mr. Timothy Wesley Smith, age 65, of Hawkinsville, Georgia died on Monday, May 9, 2022 at Taylor Regional Hospital. Funeral services for Mr. Smith will be held on Thursday, May 12, 2022 at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Clark Funeral Home with Rev. Danny Allen officiating. The family will greet friends from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. at Clark Funeral Home immediately prior to the service.
Mr. Smith was born in Hawkinsville, Georgia on November 03, 1956 to the late Seaborn Theodis Smith, Sr. and Frances Smith. Tim was a graduate of Hawkinsville High School and the University of Georgia where he earned a master's degree in agricultural education. Throughout his life he was a member of various agricultural organizations including the National FFA Organization, 4-H, Georgia Young Farmers and the United Poultry Grower's Association. Tim enjoyed many hobbies throughout his life, but enjoyed spending time with his family the most. He was preceded in death by his parents and his first wife Martha Wilson Smith, mother of Riley, Katy and Wes.
Those left to forever cherish his memory include his devoted wife of 23 years Debbie Smith of Hawkinsville; children: Riley (Kindal) Smith of Rochelle; Ben (Haley) Gleaton of Waycross; Katy (David) Haynes of Cochran; Wes (Kimberlyn) Smith of Hawkinsville; brother, Theodis (Mary Jo) Smith, Jr. of Hawkinsville; sisters, Linda (Charles) Cook of Florida, Martha (Danny) Rewis of Macon, Fran (Richard) Atkins of Florida and Joan Smith of Florida. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Jase Smith, Sam Gleaton, Kate Gleaton, Kale Adkins, Kiley Adkins, Ty Haynes and Mason Anderson.
