Timothy Michael Sohn

NEGAUNEE, MI – Timothy Michael Sohn, age 50, passed away September 28, 2025.

Born July 2, 1975 in Vassar, Michigan, Tim was raised in Vassar by his mother, Deborah Lynn Sohn and her husband, George Edward Clemens. He graduated from Vassar High School in 1993 where he participated in high school wrestling and football. For a brief time, Tim attended Michigan State University. Throughout the years, he held various jobs including driving semi cross country and working in the moving industry. He later was employed as a service manager with Halbinsel Volkswagen Mazda in Escanaba until that dealership closed in 2023. Recently, he served as service manager with Bald Eagle Harley Davidson in Marquette. Tim was a simple man with a heart of gold. He enjoyed making people laugh, doing for others, and was generous with his time and talent. He was a giver and a doer. Among his hobbies and special interests were hunting, watching Michigan State football, and being a loyal Detroit Lions fan. However, his greatest enjoyment came from spending time with family, especially following the sporting events of Bryce and Brayden.

Tim is survived by his significant other, Terri Dunstan and her sons, Bryce (Ellah DeGrand) Dunstan and Brayden (Ava Andrews) Dunstan; his siblings, Jennifer (Scott) Altizer, George Neal Clemens and Christopher Clemens; nieces and nephews; extended family; lifelong friends, Dan (Rebecca) Hall and Marshall (Mandi) Sharpe; and his canine companions, Thor and Pepper.

Tim was preceded in death by his parents.

A Celebration of Life, honoring Tim, will be held at the Presque Isle Pavilion on October 18 from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm. This will be an informal time for the sharing of memories, conversation, and Tim's favorite, sweets.
