Timothy James Staser, 66, of Greenville, Indiana, passed away on Monday, February 16, 2026. Born on September 29, 1959, he was the son of Donna (Baker) Staser and the late Roger Staser.
A committed employee, Tim spent a significant portion of his career at Colgate-Palmolive before retiring from Samtec, Inc. in New Albany. Beyond his professional life, Tim had a passion for woodworking, an activity that allowed him to express his creativity and craftsmanship. However, nothing brought him greater joy than the time he devoted to his family. As a husband, father, and grandfather, Tim cherished every moment spent with his loved ones.
He is survived by his devoted wife, Danelle (Boaz) Staser, and their children, Casey Jecker (Shawn), Andrew Staser (Tausha), and Christopher Staser (Kelsie). His legacy also continues through his grandchildren: Ashlyn, Sam, Tristan, Bodhi, Keion, Markel, Owen, David, Ford, Baden, Ridley, and Delilah.
In addition to his father, Tim was preceded in death by his brother, Steve, and is also survived by his mother, Donna, and siblings Donnie Staser (Connie), Karin Naville (Julian), Martha Laffoon, and Kevin Staser (Ashari), as well as many nieces, nephews, and extended family members who will remember him fondly.
In accordance with his wishes, Tim will be cremated. A gathering of family and friends will take place on Saturday, February 21, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, located at 3309 Ballard Lane in New Albany. A celebration of Tim's life will begin at 4:00 p.m., providing an opportunity for all who knew him to honor his memory. Tim will be laid to rest privately at St. Mary's Navilleton Catholic Church Cemetery.
