Timothy E. Steinbauer Saginaw, Michigan
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Timothy "Tim" Erwin Steinbauer. Tim passed away on April 13, 2025 at the age of 69. Tim was born in Bay City, Michigan on May 18, 1955 to the late Florence and Erwin Steinbauer. A loving husband to his wife Marcia Steinbauer. The two of them spent 46 years together as husband and wife. They built a life together full of love and laughter. Tim is not only survived by his devoted wife, but also two beautiful children Wendy (Jason) Kernstock and Adam (Danielle) Steinbauer. He also leaves behind four grandchildren Jason Kernstock Jr., Charlotte Steinbauer, Meredith Steinbauer, and Delilah Steinbauer. He was preceded in death by his parents, Florence and Erwin, as well as his brother-in-law, James "Jim" Kasemeyer. He is survived by his sister, Nancy Kasemeyer. Tim will also be missed greatly by the brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, and those that had the pleasure of calling him a friend that he leaves behind.
He was an avid outdoorsman, loving husband, warmhearted brother, and doting father and grandfather. Tim could often be found on the sidelines cheering for his grandchildren at their various sporting events side by side with his daughter. Tim loved every sport, especially when it meant he got to spend time with his family. He was everyone's biggest fan. When the leaves began to change in the fall he would look forward to hunting trips with his son, son-in-law, and grandson. They would spend hours out in the woods waiting for that once in a lifetime buck to walk by them.
Funeral Service will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, April 17, 2025 at The Snow Funeral Home, 3775 N. Center Rd., (between Shattuck and McCarty). Pastor Scott Muske will officiate. Private interment will be in St. John Lutheran Cemetery. Friends may visit at the funeral home where the family will be present on Wednesday from 2:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. and on Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to Toni and Trish House. The staff and volunteers there are truly angels on Earth doing the Lord's work every day.
