Carol Tatgenhorst Perkins
November 24, 2023
Hello. I accidentally came across Tim's obituary today. This is Carol Tatgenhorst (Perkins), daughter of Tim's dad's brother, Alec (Dixon). I only remember meeting Tim and Bill once, when we visited Atlanta. I believe Jane was grown and gone by that time. I had the pleasure of seeing Tina and Meg on two or three subsequent occasions. I am so sorry to hear of your loss of Tim. When I saw this, it brought back a memory I've never forgotten that Dad told us about, after he visited Atlanta and stayed at your home when Mark and I were small. He laughed as he told us how Tim would get on his Wonderhorse next to his bed at night (evidently right by it) and rock back and forth until he started to fall asleep, at which point he would just fall off of it into his bed! Dad thought that was so funny. It sounds like Tim was a wonderful man. I wish that life's circumstances had allowed us to know each other better.
