Obituary Timothy John Techick
Timothy John Techick, (Timmy) 51, of Mackay ID passed away December 09, 2024 at Intermountain Medical Center in Murray, UT.
Tim was born April 27, 1973 in Arco Idaho to Terrell and Barbara (Gulley) Techick. They later divorced, then it was just Terrell and Timmy. With the help of family and friends in Arco, Tim had a lot of people helping and looking out for him. He spent a lot of time with Pennie Stauffer and family, and Ed and Lois Techick. Tim and Terrell made a lot of memories at Blizzard Mountain ski hill.
Tim loved baseball in his younger years and was pretty good at it. As he got a little bit older and moved to Idaho Falls with his dad, he also began wrestling while he attended Bonneville High School. Tim was very active in sports and very competitive.
Tim met Chantel (Lloyd) in 1994 and later married. They had two boys, Cody born 1995 and Tyler born 1997. They lived in IF until 1999 then moved to North Dakota for a couple years while Tim worked for Rex TV and appliance, eventually moving back to IF where he started Grow with Ease. They spent time as a family camping, fishing, snow mobiling, and biking around town with their Pitbull, Max. Tim joined baseball teams as an adult, playing summer league and tournaments. He was also an MMA trainer for team Powerhouse in Idaho Falls, which he enjoyed.
When the boys were in elementary school they re located to the Lost river Valley, where the boys finished school. As a family, they got involved in 4H and later FFA. The boys both raised a steer for auction at the local fair, which Tim mentored them every step of the way. During that time, he worked for local ranchers, who helped out with the steers.
The family then moved up the valley closer to Mackay, where the boys finished high school, and Tyler played football and participated in track, Tim attended as many games and meets as he could. After working at US Calcium, Tim started a local sprinkler business, Lost River Sprinkler. Tim and Cody worked side by side until his passing.
In 2023 he finally got his girl, granddaughter Pyper Mae Techick, daughter of Tyler Techick and Shellbie Williams, he was a proud Papa of his first grandchild. Tim is survived by wife, Chantel Techick, sons Cody and Tyler Techick, Janice Techick, and Pyper Mae Techick
