Titus Funeral Home and Cremation Services - WarsawTimothy O. Willis, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend, passed peacefully in his home with his wife by his side on Sunday, October 5, 2025, at the age of 71. Born on December 20, 1953, in New Albany, Indiana, he was the son of Calvin B. and Naomi J. Willis (Pitman). He was a man whose life was marked by courage, joy, humility, and a deep commitment to serving others.
Tim graduated from Westville High School in 1972 before furthering his education at Indiana University, where he earned a bachelor's degree in journalism in 1975. He continued on with his education, graduating from Indiana University in 1980 with his DDS and went on to establish a 40 year long successful private dental practice in Westville, Indiana. Throughout his career, Tim was known not only for his professional expertise but also for the compassionate care he extended to his patients.
In addition to his career, Tim devoted himself to his faith and community. A man of God, he undertook thirteen missionary trips to Haiti, sharing his love and resources with those in need. His dedication to service extended to his community, where he was a former member of the Chamber of Commerce and the School Board in Westville.
In 2002, he married Deb, his loving wife. Together, they cherished their time spent exploring the outdoors, boating and sailing, and embarking on day trips to try new restaurants. Tim had an appreciation for nature and found joy in simple pleasures such as chopping wood, reading, and writing. He was a true people person, known for his quiet yet warm demeanor that drew others to him.
He is survived by his wife Deb Willis; his children, David (Maggie) Willis, Stephen (Sara) Willis, and Sarah (Brent) Barron; his stepchildren, Scott (Jodi) Rockwell, David Rockwell, and Stephen (Carmen) Rockwell and 12 grandchildren. Tim was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Jan (Jon) Rees.
