Instead of waiting for the results of November 2024, Tim decided to pass from our lives on April 28, 2024. He was surrounded by his family (including his two cats!) who shared memories of his bringing love and laughter to all.
Tim inherited his dad's sense of humor and would share, often unsolicited, his entire Shecky Greene repertoire. His parents instilled in him, his sister, and his brother a love of music and literature. Tim followed in his dad's footsteps by playing the drums, and during college enjoyed jamming with his friends in his band "The Abusers" Tim was a devoted son to his mom, Alison, who influenced his love of literature and book collecting.
Tim was a true Pittsburgh sports fan, but he also enjoyed collecting uniforms and memorabilia from all teams and eras. He also loved going on road trips with friends and family to historic baseball parks and sports venues throughout the US, Canada, and even Europe.
Tim enjoyed military history and was an avid, (borderline hoarder!), collector of military regalia, books, and ephemera. He also truly loved animals and his pets. Many friends have mentioned over the years that, in another life, they would want to come back as a "Wilson Pet", because they knew that they would be pampered, fed, spoiled, and loved beyond their dreams.
Tim's children were his life. His humor and quirks, shared only with his children, will live on through them.
Tim's life was a canvas for him to showcase his many talents. Whether creating humorous and sometimes (often) inappropriate comics, decorating cards and letters for his friends and family, or sketching battle scenes he communicated his passion and ideas on the page.
Tim was a great, loving man. His unique mannerisms, storytelling prowess, his ability to mimic dialect, as well as his sweet smile are just some of the many wonderful things that will be sorely missed, by his wife, children, family, and many friends.
