Tina M. Correll, 62, of Parsons and a former Oswego resident, passed away at 6:15 p.m., Thursday, December 5, 2024, at the Labette Health Emergency Room in Parsons.
She was born on September 7, 1962, at Oswego, Kansas to Willis "Sonny" and Jewell (Wilson) Correll. She grew up in Oswego and attended Oswego schools where she excelled at sports and was a standout softball player. She graduated from Oswego High School in 1980. She later attended Labette Community College where she received an associate's degree.
Tina later moved to Parsons where she worked at Casey's General Store and Res Care before going to work at the Parsons State Hospital and Training Center as a caregiver for many years where she was currently employed.
Tina was an avid Kansas City Chiefs and Kansas Jayhawks fan. She was also a fan of WWE wrestling and enjoyed watching various TV show series including, The Walking Dead.
She is survived by her longtime companion and husband, Clarence Foster of the home, her children, Ke'ona Foster of Parsons, Darius Foster, and His companion, Jessica Skillett of Collinsville, OK, Trey Correll of Parsons, Zachary Correll of Parsons, and Tyrell Foster of Parsons; her mother Jewel Correll of Galesburg; her grandchildren, Houston Foster, Nevaeh Foster, Tay Foster, and Eleanor Correll; her brother, Mike Correll, and his companion, Jalinda Wicker, of Galesburg; her sister, Teresa Beard of Galesburg; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Sonny Correll; her sister, Tracy Spooner; and her grandparents.
Private family services will be held later with burial in the Oswego Cemetery. Online condolences may be left at www.wallfuneralservices.com.
