On August 19th, 2022, Tina Dorine Gard got her wings and went to walk with the angels. She was 62 years young when she was called to rest.
She grew up in Selma, Indiana, with four brothers, Tim, Brian, Trent, Trace, and sister Lana. Tina was a graduate of Wapahani High School and Ambers Beauty College. Over the years, she worked doing hair, Clinique makeup, and recently home caretaking for her friend Bill. She found joy in making others feel special.
Tina fiercely loved her family. She was a mother, daughter, sister, grandmother, and aunt. Her grandchildren lit up her world. She was a giving soul, and you never left her sight empty-handed. She had an infectious laugh and loved making others smile. She gave everything she had, and she will be greatly missed.
Surviving families are son Ryan Gard (wife, Jessica) and daughter Danielle Gontarz (husband, John). Her parents, Joe and Trula Perry; three brothers, Brian Perry, Trent Perry (wife, Lori), Trace Perry; sister Lana Stanley (husband, David); fianc Scott Prater. She is also survived by the joy of her life, her grandchildren; Lily Wilson, Maycie Wilson, Trenten Gard, Brecken Gontarz, and Brynlee Gontarz.
