Leah Davis. 44, beloved wife, mother, daughter, aunt, sister and cousin, went home to heaven at 6:38am October 11th 2025. She passed peacefully in the presence of her children and family after a long and courageous battle with cancer.
Leah was born May 13th, 1981 to Lonnie and Joyce Young in Richmond Indiana. Leah lived in Richmond before moving to Muncie in 1992. She attended Yorktown High School. Leah was very talented. She loved arts and crafts and she was a very good cook.
Leah worked various jobs in Muncie including The Roberts Hotel, Dairy Queen and Ryan's Steakhouse, where she met her future husband in 2006. Leah was currently working at Ball Memorial Hospital.
In 2008 Leah married the love of her life. Leah leaves behind her husband of 18 years, Nathan Davis; her son Colin 24 (Kalie); daughters, Isabela 19, Azrelle 18 and Ava 14; She also leaves behind one brother, Ryan Luker (Kristy); and a sister DeliaKashi (Mike); along with several nieces and nephews.
Leah was proceeded in death by her mother and father, Joyce and Lonnie Young; grandparents, Clyde and Sylvia Young; grandmother, Phyllis Snyder; her mother in-law Diana Grimes; and two beloved dogs, Georgia and Jake.
Leah's services will be 2:00 p.m. on Saturday October 18, 2025 at The Meeks Mortuary and Crematory, Washington Street Chapel with Bryce Davis officiating.
Friends and family may call from 12:00pm to 2:00pm on Saturday at the mortuary.
