Tina Louise Huffman, 57, of Akron, Indiana passed at 8:54 pm, Wednesday, October 1, 2025 at Life Care Center of Rochester. Tina was born on August 13, 1968, in Warsaw, Indiana, to Thomas J. and Bertha Jo (Wearly) Huffman. A graduate of Wabash High School in 1987, she continued her education at Wabash Vocational School. Tina brought leadership to KFC, serving as General Manager in Frankfort and Assistant Manager in North Manchester. Her home hosted countless Tupperware and Home Interior parties, creating spaces of connection with friends. Creative and hands-on, she found joy in crocheting-crafting countless blankets and washcloths that she gave away. She had a knack for puzzles and cherished time spent outdoors camping and canoeing with family. A passionate sports fan, she especially loved watching NASCAR (Jeff Gordon was her favorite), football, and basketball, always cheering for Purdue. Above all, Tina adored her nieces and nephews and was known for her humor, kindness, and generosity. She gave freely to others and held her family close to her heart. She is survived by her father Tom Huffman of Rochester; siblings Pat and wife Alison Overmyer of Akron, Kimberly Huffman Gardner of Wabash, Stephanie Overmyer Pierce of Michigan City; Travis and wife Monica Huffman of Rochester; aunt Bonnie Fields and fiancé Paul Pyle; and uncle Max and wife Lori Huffman of Mentone; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Tina was preceded in death by her mother Bertha Jo and step mother Nancy Huffman. Following her wishes, no service will be held at this time. Memorial contributions can be made in her memory to the funeral home to help with expenses.
