Tina Marie Jefferies

Tina Marie Jefferies was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend. She went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, December 8, 2024, surrounded by her loved ones. She was born Tina Marie Joiner at Lima Memorial Hospital in Lima, Ohio on July 18, 1963, to Eleanor Faye Joiner and John Wesley Joiner, Jr. Tina was the light of her dad's eyes, he called her "Tina Winkles" because her little braids that stood up on the top of her head like the cartoon character: Bull Winkle.
She attended Whittier Elementary School in Lima, Oh. She sang in the kids' choir at Mt. Olive Church of God in Christ. After moving to Toledo, she attended Pickett Jr. High School. She then, attended and graduated from Libbey High School in 1981. She was an honor roll student, voted most quiet, completed two years of French, and was a part of the Future Homemakers of America Club. She went on to attend Stautzenberger College where she obtained her associate degree in business administration. She then started working for the Lucas County Child Support Enforcement Agency as an Investigator where she went on to retire.
In the summer of 1990 Tina met Marcus at Walbridge Park. They soon fell in love and married on June 22, 1991. She loved going on walks with her husband; Anytime she could, she would go feed the ducks at Sleepy Hollow Park, she enjoyed listening to music, and doing many different things with her daughters including latch-hook, watching movies, going out to eat and spending time with her grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents: Ethel and Eddie Humphries Jr., John Wesley Joiner Sr. and Josephine Ray-Joiner, father: John Wesley Joiner, Jr.
Cherished memories are left to her husband of 33 years, Marcus Jefferies, Daughters: Holly Lane Hickman, Jasmine Marie (Jerome) Brooks, Amber Jefferies, Bonus children: Meca (Michael) Jackson, Mark Andrew Jefferies, Betty Ruth Jefferies, Grandchildren: Caprice Elijah Frazier, Mya Nichole Dunn, Dominique 'DJ' Dunn Jr., Ava Mone't Brooks, Ariah Arlene Brooks, Jerome Roland Brooks III, Mother: Eleanor Faye Joiner, Siblings: Jill (Adnan) Aldweik, Kelvin Joiner, Nephews: Romy Wesley Dupree, Mustafa Aldweik
