Tina Marie (Morrow, McCallie, Cole, McKinnis, Kossey) Johnson (68) passed away Monday June 3, 2024 in Amarillo Texas. Tina was born December 5, 1955 to Wanda & James Morrow in Borger Texas. Tina graduated from Acron High School in Mena Arkansas in 1974. She was a great basketball player in her time there. After high school Tina married Steve Cole. She welcomed her 3 oldest children, Tammy, Cody and Dainel. She later married Calvin McKinnis. After his passing she married Mike Kossey and lived her life in Fritch and Borger Texas. She also raised her 4th child Laci, after Tina's sister's passing.
You could find Tina playing cards, playing bingo, at the slot machines, or wranging grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Tina was also an avid storyteller. There wasn't a story she hadn't told at least 10 times, each time it was more exaggerated than the last.
She is preceded in death by her parents James Morrow, Wanda & step-dad Ed McMullen, and sister Renee Ryan.
She is survived by 4 children; daughter Tammy Heard & husband Casey of Fritch Texas, son Cody Cole & wife Shonda of Amarillo Texas, son Daniel Cole & wife Mary of Borger Texas, daughter Laci Jordan of Pauls Valley Oklahoma. 10 grandchildren; Amber Holland & husband Casley, D'Ann Titsworth & boyfriend Chase Selman, Casey Heard & wife Chelsea, Nichi Heard & life partner Sam Bobo, Micheal Heard and wife Beth, Abigail & Kahlyn Cole, Abigail & Austin Boyd, and Lilly Jordan, 9 great-grandchildren, Numerous nieces & nephews, cousins and close cousins Kay Griffin & husband Randy, and Anita McWilliams & Husband Kendell.
Celebration of life will be held Saturday June 15, 2024 at Borger First Assembly (503 Whittenburg Borger Texas 79007) at 10:00 A.M. Officiating will be Pastor Chris Smirl.
