Toby Alan Higgins, age 47 of Crawfordsville passed away on Friday, March 1, 2019 at home while surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Crawfordsville on August 16, 1971 to Ron Higgins and Debra (Mitchell) Spillis.
Toby graduated from North Putnam High School in 1989 and married the love of his life, Kim Higgins on September 15, 2002 in Las Vegas. He worked at Hendrickson Trailer & Suspension in Lebanon as a fab operator. He loved muscle cars, especially his Mustang, loved riding his Harley, and loved spending time with his family. He loved having fun with friends and lived life to it's fullest.
He is survived by his wife of 17 years, Kim Higgins; his father, Ron (Sue) Higgins; his mother, Debra Spillis; two daughters, Jessica (Justin) Hart and Grace Higgins; two sons, Blake Cope and Tyler (Keirra Dale) Gross; two brothers, Brett Higgins and Josh Higgins; a sister, Amanda Higgins; and 4 grandchildren, Treycin, Gavin, Everleigh, Julian and one on the way.
He was preceded in death by his step father, Ted Spillis and a brother, Todd Spillis.
Visitation will be at Sanders Priebe Funeral Care, 315 S Washington St in Crawfordsville on Tuesday, March 5, 2019 from 5:00 – 8:00pm. The funeral will be Wednesday, March 6, 2019 at 1:00pm at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Oak Hill North Cemetery. Share memories and condolences online at www.sandersfuneralcare.com
