I came to Mendham NJ on October 2, 1950, and Tod and I became life long friends. I knew Tod and his Mother very well. I feel I was one of very few people who knew Tod very well. Tod was definitely the smartest one in our class in Mendham Boro Grammar school.

Forty years ago, on a Sunday afternoon, my daughter fell out of my car. In a mad panic I found the only doctor available near Marshfield. He leaned over her.
"What's your name?" He asked.
"Faith."
"How old are you?"
"Free." She said.
"Are you married?" He asked and she giggled and I immediately felt like she was going to be alright. After that day we became friends for life and there has not been a year since that he didn't send me a Christmas card.
Until this year. I didn't know about his passing and I apologize to the family for sending an insensitive card. Knowing that someone I counted on for so long is gone is a hard pill to swallow. My most sincere condolences goes out to his family and I want them to know that I will always miss him.

Tod will truly be missed. Tod was a man with a kind heart. I will remember all the laughs we had. My condolences to the Forman family. May he rest in peace
