To Tods family and fellow Sandy Valley class of 1970
I just learned yesterday that Tod had passed. I immediately felt very sad and tearful. Tod was the essence of joy, laughter, fairness to all that went to high school with him. He always treated me with kindness and respect and made me feel very special even though I was not part of the his East Sparta elementary school group. It was always a challenge at time to see 4 community towns come together as one group when we came together in high school. We often had talks about me going into nursing school and encouraged me to do so. I can still see his smile. His blonde hair. So to his family and close friends let me say how special he was and how fortunate you all are to have had him in your life. I am absolutely certain that the Gates of Heaven opened wide for him, and rightfully so. He will be so missed by not only myself but his entire graduation class of 1970. Ma

Tod was the first employee I hired when going into business in 1977 having known his dad and his family for years.
He was a pace setter and example for all the other employes. A nicer person
you could never meet and he will be missed greatly, Rest in peace
my friend.
