Todd Eric Butler

Todd Eric Butler passed away at his home in Nags Head, North Carolina on December 6, 2025 at the age of 59. He was born in Muncie, Indiana on July 30, 1966 to the late Wayne Butler and Kay Butler. He spent the majority of his life living with his family in Lewisville, NC and is survived by his children, daughter, Maigan Erica Butler; son, Jack Butler; their mother and his former wife, Billi Jo Butler; brother, Brian Butler; sister, Kim Pierce; brother-in-law, C.E. Pierce; niece and nephew, Hayley and Daniel.
Todd was an outdoorsy man, loved the mountains, hiking, fishing, and being out on a boat whether on a lake or out at sea. He was a jack-of-all-trades making a living throughout his life as a carpenter, landscaper, handyman, and caterer. He was athletic, grew up playing baseball, football and riding horses, and enjoyed long boarding in his adult years. He was a lifelong fan of the band the Grateful Dead and the New England Patriots NFL team. Todd will be remembered for the way he was so unintentionally funny and could make anyone laugh with his deadpan sense of humor.
Plans for a celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
